ATX provides innovative technologies and paintball strategies to National Paintball Supply, world's largest paintball products distributor

ATX , a leading integrated communications provider with approximately 40,000 business customers and 400,000 consumer subscribers, is providing National Paintball Supply, the world's largest paintball products distributor, with a robust, broadband solution for live video streaming of paintball tournaments worldwide.

ATX is enhancing National Paintball Supply's current bandwidth with another three megabyte per second Internet connection for its new website, www.paintball.tv. The additional T1 line was installed recently, allowing users to access this new site to watch paintball tournaments around the globe. The website is hosting its first broadcast at the 2001 National Paintball Players League World Cup beginning October 24 in Orlando. In addition to live coverage to the major paintball tournaments each year, the site will provide selected games, awards ceremonies, and news updates throughout the tournaments.

"We are very satisfied with the work that ATX has done for us and the exceptional level of service we have grown accustomed to at ATX," explains Lou Spicer, National Paintball Supply's Information Technology Manager. "With this powerful Internet connection helping us launch the live paintball broadcasts, we anticipate a dramatic increase in traffic to our site, which already averages over 10,000 customers daily."

National Paintball Supply has been a loyal customer of ATX since 1996. The relationship between the supplier and ATX has grown from a basic, small configuration to a comprehensive package including voice, toll-free, frame relay, and Internet services.
