Strange does it again like a paintball bazooka

In the second match-up of the Dynasty vs. Strange, the guys in red did it again. Strange had to battle to keep alive in the first half of the match, but they came back from a four point deficit to pull ahead of Dynasty at half time.

Super Strange

“We knew this was gonna be a tough game,” Strange kept saying. “This is gonna be a good game. It’s all about stamina until the second half.”

For the finals, only one of the X-Ball fields is being used, so the crowd gathered around all four sides of the net was huge. Today there was an even amount of fans for both teams, which must have been nice for Dynasty after being booed at their last two matches.

Crowd Gathers

The match was all tied up with 13 minutes left in the second half, and Strange turned up their energy. They pulled ahead of Dynasty 9-8 and stayed one up on them until there was less than four minutes on the clock.

Half-Time Huddle

When they got down to the 2 minute mark, Strange got the crucial point that put them ahead by 2. Dynasty made one more comeback attempt, but Strange pulled ahead by 2 again with only 30 seconds left.

Sneak Attack

The celebration began in the Strange staging area. Guys were jumping up and down, waving their hands and screaming out “We have been working for this all year, we’ve earned it.”

Defeating Dynasty twice in the same tournament is no easy task, and the guys of Strange deserve their victory dance.
