Paintball rules include women in Introduce a Woman to Paintball weekend

WomenInPaintball.com formally announced today the second International Introduce a Woman to Paintball Weekend. The event consists of fields around North America offering discounts to women for the weekend.

This year's event has a slight twist: fields from other countries can now participate. "After last year, I received many e-mails and notes asking why Canadian fields werent included," said Susan "Suzzie" Stoneman, founder of WomenInPaintball.com. "I figured, why not? Hopefully we can get a few other countries involved as well, to make this truly an international event. So many fields were thrilled to participate and invite more women to play. It was really an exciting experience to have the industry encouraging women in paintball."

Last year's National Introduce a Woman to Paintball Weekend involved exactly 100 fields. Friendly Fire Paintball of Upton, Massachusetts, had the greatest number of female players, reporting 27 women at their field.

WomenInPaintball.com has been an international organization for women in paintball since 1998.
