PAINTBALL BIATHLON AT SX SKI CENTER

Coming to the Mt. Shasta Board & Ski Park's Nordic Center on March 13th is the Paintball Biathlon! This will be the Mt. Shasta Biathlon Club's first event, as they put a little twist on this classic Olympic sport.

This is a perfect first time introduction to the challenge of skiing hard, then focusing and shooting a target. Traditional cross country skis or skating skis are required to tour the short, easy loop course (total distance 5 kilometers or less) but be prepared for penalty laps if you miss your shot!

The event begins Saturday, March 13th. Participants sign up at the Nordic Center. Club members hope to put on a practice session before the start time, so participants may want to arrive a little early.

Cost to participate is $10 for adults and free to those between 10 and 17 years old. The Cross Country Ski Center will offer a reduced trail pass price for those who sign up. Ski rentals are also available.
